The information you place into Life is yours.
We do not claim ownership of your private entries simply because you use Life to organize or store them.

We do not sell your private Life entries.
We do not rent your personal information to advertisers.
We do not use the private contents of your notebooks, financial records, health logs, goals, contacts, passwords, schedules, memories, or similar private entries to create advertising profiles.
We do not intentionally make your private Life information publicly available unless you specifically use a feature designed to share or publish information.
Life may process or store certain information through the infrastructure and service providers necessary to operate the application. Such processing does not change your ownership of your personal content.
1.2 Information You May Choose to Enter
Life contains many optional tools.
Depending on which features you use, you may choose to enter information such as:

- Profile information
- Profile pictures or uploaded images

You are not required to use every feature.
You control which Life features you use and which information you choose to enter.
1.3 Sensitive Information
Some Life features allow you to voluntarily enter information that may be considered sensitive.
This may include information relating to:
- Health
- Diet
- Fitness
- Weight
- Finances
- Debts
- Credit
- Passwords
- Personal relationships
- Contacts
- Location
- Employment
- Education
- Personal routines
- Private notes
- Personal memories.
Life does not require you to enter sensitive information unless it is necessary for a feature you voluntarily choose to use.
You should only enter information you are comfortable maintaining within the Service.
Life is not intended to serve as a medical-record system, bank, credit-reporting agency, investment account, legal-record repository, government-record system, or emergency information system.
1.4 Account Information
To provide account-based functionality, Life may process information necessary to:
- Create your account
- Authenticate your identity
- Keep you signed in
- Verify your email
- Protect your account
- Recover your account
- Maintain your preferences
- Synchronize your information
- Process account deletion
- Prevent unauthorized access
- Detect security problems.
This may include your email address, account identifier, authentication information, device/session information, and related technical records.
Passwords used to authenticate your Life account should be handled using secure authentication systems rather than being stored in readable plain text.
1.5 Information Life Does Not Intentionally Request
Life does not intentionally require users to provide:
- Social Security numbers
- Passport numbers
- Driver's-license numbers
- Complete bank-account credentials
- Complete payment-card numbers directly to Life
- Government authentication credentials.
Do not place extremely sensitive identification information into general notes, notebooks, or fields that were not specifically designed for such information.
1.6 Payment Information
If you purchase a subscription, payment may be processed by an app marketplace, payment processor, financial institution, or other payment provider.
Life may receive information necessary to determine things such as:
- Whether a subscription is active
- Which subscription was purchased
- Purchase date
- Renewal status
- Expiration date
- Transaction identifier
- Refund status.
Life does not need your complete payment-card number in order to determine whether your Life subscription is active when payment is handled by a third-party payment provider.
Payment providers may independently process information according to their own privacy policies and legal obligations.
1.7 Automatically Processed Technical Information
Like most internet-connected applications, certain technical information may be processed automatically when you access Life.
Depending on the technology used to operate the Service, this may include:
- IP address
- Device type
- Operating system
- Browser type
- App version
- Session information
- Authentication events
- Error logs
- Crash information
- Security events
- Device identifiers
- Approximate region
- Date and time of access
- Feature-performance information.
This information may be used for legitimate operational purposes such as security, authentication, troubleshooting, performance, fraud prevention, and maintaining the Service.
Life does not use this information to create behavioral advertising profiles.

As between you and Life, you retain your rights in the information and original content you create or upload.
Using Life does not transfer ownership of your:

- Photos
- Memories
- Financial information
- Schedules
- Goals
- Contacts
- Health logs
- Password records
- Journals
- Custom entries
- Other private personal content
to Life.
You grant Life only the limited permission reasonably necessary for our systems and service providers to host, process, transmit, display, back up, synchronize, and otherwise technically handle your information for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
This permission ends when the information is deleted, subject to reasonable technical, legal, security, backup, and retention limitations.
1.10 We Do Not Sell Personal Information
Life does not sell personal information for money.
Life does not sell private user-created content.
Life does not sell your personal entries to advertisers or data brokers.
Life does not intentionally share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
If our practices materially change in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated before such practices are implemented where notice or consent is legally required.
1.11 Advertising
Life is not designed around monetizing your private personal information.
Private user entries are not intended to be analyzed for personalized advertising.
If advertising features are ever introduced, any legally required notice, permission, or opt-out mechanism will be provided before information is used for a materially different purpose.
1.12 Service Providers
Life relies on technology and service providers to operate.
Providers may perform functions such as:
- Cloud hosting
- Database services
- Authentication
- Email delivery

- Application distribution
- AI functionality

1.13 AI Features
Life may include artificial-intelligence-powered features.
When you intentionally interact with an AI feature, information included in that interaction may need to be processed by systems providing the AI functionality.
You should avoid entering highly sensitive information into an AI interaction unless you are comfortable with that information being processed to provide the requested feature.
AI features may produce incorrect, incomplete, misleading, or outdated responses.
AI output should never be treated as professional medical, financial, legal, psychological, emergency, or other professional advice.
1.14 Photos and Uploaded Files
If you upload photos, images, files, or other media, those materials may be processed and stored as necessary to provide the applicable Life feature.
You are responsible for ensuring you have permission to upload content involving another person.
Do not upload material that violates another person's privacy, intellectual-property rights, or applicable law.
1.15 Location and Weather
Some Life features may use a location you manually enter or, with permission, location-related information provided by your device.
Location information may be used for features such as:
- Weather
- Time zone
- Maps
- Goal locations
- Location-based organization.
Where device permission is required, you may control that permission through your device settings.
Disabling location permissions may limit certain features.
1.16 Notifications
If you enable notifications, Life may send:
- Reminders
- Goal notifications
- Schedule alerts
- Renewal reminders
- Challenge notifications
- Security alerts
- Subscription information
- Other notifications you request.
Device-notification providers may process information necessary to deliver those notifications.
You can control notification permissions through your device or applicable Life settings.

We seek to retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:

- Maintain security
- Resolve disputes
- Prevent abuse
- Meet legal obligations.
Information you maintain inside an active account may remain stored while you choose to keep it there.
When you delete information or your account, deletion may not occur instantaneously across every technical system.
Limited copies may temporarily remain in:

- Logs
- Security records
- Fraud-prevention systems
- Disaster-recovery systems
until those records are overwritten, expire, or can reasonably be deleted.
Certain records may also be retained when legally required.
1.18 Account Deletion
Users should be provided with a method to request or initiate account deletion.
Deleting your account is intended to delete or permanently disassociate your personal account information from active Life systems, subject to legitimate technical and legal retention requirements.

Deleting Life from your device does not necessarily delete your Life account.

- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete information
- Obtain a portable copy of certain information
- Restrict certain processing

- Receive equal service after exercising privacy rights.
Life does not discriminate against a user for exercising a privacy right protected by law.

Life may be available internationally.

1.23 Children and Teenagers
Life is intended for users who are 13 years of age or older.
Life is not directed to children under 13.
If you are under 13, you may not create or use a Life account.
If you are between 13 and the legal age of majority where you live, you should use Life only with permission from a parent or legal guardian where such permission is required.
If we learn that personal information has been collected from a child under 13 in circumstances requiring parental consent and such consent was not obtained, reasonable steps will be taken to delete the information.

Any successor would remain subject to applicable privacy obligations regarding information obtained through Life.
